Streets to close for Christmas in Davidson

The town has announced the following street closures and parking restrictions during Christmas in Davidson the evenings of Thursday, Nov. 30, through Saturday, Dec. 2:
- Main Street will be closed from Main and Jackson to Main and Concord Road.
- Chairman Blake will be closed at Main Street.
- On South Street, you must travel along Walnut to reach Main Street.
- Jackson Street, Concord Road and Lorimer Road will remain open.
No Parking signs will go up and cars parked on Main Street will be ticketed beginning at 5 p.m. each day. For more information please call the town at 704-892-5131.
