The Lake Norman Art League Fall Show (and art sale) is on display Nov. 1-19 at Wooden Stone Gallery on South Main Street in Davidson. Come on down for a reception with the artists Friday (Nov. 10), 6-9 pm.
The show includes entries by Art League members and other area artists, as well as the winning images selected for the newly published 2007 calendar “Images of Home,” which is being sold to raise money for the Davidson Housing Coalition’s Hammers emergency home repair program.
Artists featured in the calendar and show include Lori Neill, Kathie Kemp, David Kaylor, Felicia van Bork, Betty Casey, Jim Elliott, Ann Nolan, Belinda Armstrong, Missy Kuykendall (that’s her “Country Home” above), David Merck, and even yours truly. Our juror for both the Art League show and the calendar was Charlotte artist Laura McCarthy (www.lauramccarthy.net).
